Nighttime Skin Routines
There are many variables that go into my nighttime skincare routine.
Step 1- Washing of the Face
I switch up cleansers depending on where I am located, if I’m showering, I use the Kiehls Calendula Deep Clean Foaming Face Wash and my Foreo Luna Mini 2. If I’m at the sink I do 1 of 80 other things. Question 1, How drunk am I? If the answer is very then I use a cleansing wipe from either Beautycounter or Kaia Naturals Juicy Bamboo. If I’m just tired, I still might go that route. If my skin is dry, I will use the Beautycounter Cleansing Balm. If I feel no particular way, I use some other random Beautycounter cleanser I own and love just to switch it up.
Step 2- The toner, serum, night cream matrix
Now- here is where things really get tricky, I use one of 4 different toners, depending on which serum and night cream I am then going to use. I really should just draw a flow chart. I’ll think about that.
My French Favorite Regimen: Caudalie Vinoperfect Glycolic Brightening Essence all over my face and neck using my fingers, which will then lead to Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum all over and Caudalie Vinoperfect Brightening Glycolic Overnight Cream.
skip the Simply Brilliant and use Dr. Dennis Gross Clinical Grade IPL Dark Spot Correcting Serum, are you still following me? Based on either of those serum choices, I typically complete the process with Beautycounter Rejuvenating Night Cream.
This final scenario will only happen if I have come from the shower, but does not mean I always do this when coming from the shower, got it? BeautyBio GloPRO® Prep Pads Clarifying Skin Cleansing Wipes with Peptides then use the BeautyBio GloPRO® Microneedling Regeneration Tool on my skin. From there, I come full circle and will almost definitely go straight to the Dr. Dennis Gross IPL because it is for sure the strongest of the serums and can really sink into my blood and fade all my darkness. By now, I just choose the closest night cream in the drawer and pass the F out.
If you have followed me this far you probably deserve an honorary doctorate in astrophysics so consider yourself a PhD.
